Bay to Breakers

This past Sunday was Bay to Breakers.  This will be my third time running it.  As you know with B2B, there's always something crazy going on.  I didn't witness too much craziness, but then I started the run at 7am while the crazies don't come out till later on.  And thats what people think of when someone mentions B2B,  they think its just for party goers.  But if you really run the course, its a pretty flat run, except for Hayes Street which has a hill but then its all downhill after that.  The entertainment along the course is awesome and you get to see people wearing costumes, the salmon people that run the course backwards, the naked people, and just everyone enjoying themselves.  Its something people should do at least once.

according to this guy, he is the first costume of B2B in 1981 and he got first place with that costume.  could he be the one who started all this? he is pretty old, looks to be in his late 60s

why blog now

i created this blog to capture the places and thing i see on my running and biking adventures.  often times i see the most beautiful and awesome things but i never stop to capture the moment.  hopefully by starting this blog it will help me to stop and appreciate the things around me.
